About Lydia

Hello! I'm Lydia. I'm hoping to find work in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, as I live in Inglewood and often petsit in Rancho Palos Verdes. The dog I care for is a German shorthaired pointer, and I have two cats with very different personalities. I am a credentialed math teacher taking a break from the education field. Growing up, I volunteered and worked with kids at my church, for ages Pre-K through 5th grade. I led small groups, as well as ran snacks, music, and crafts. I was also a nanny for a 21-month-old girl one summer, and a 7-year-old boy another. My most recent childcare gig was for a 11-year-old girl with several special needs, for about a year and a half. I would ideally like to be a nanny to a baby as I won't be having one of my own, but I really love babies and would cherish the opportunity to take care of one on a regular basis.
