About Lydia

Hello! I'm Lydia. I'm 33, and I split my time between Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX. In TX I'm a dog mama to a German shorthaired pointer, and there's a cat in the family too. As I go back and forth between my homes every 2-3 weeks, I'd love to be considered for short-term babysitting and pet care, stepping in when the regular isn't available. I was a middle and high school math teacher for 9 years, so I'm uniquely situated to help translate that new Common Core stuff. Growing up, I volunteered and worked with kids at my church, for ages Pre-K through 5th grade. I led small groups, as well as ran snacks, music, and crafts. I was also a nanny for a 21-month-old girl one summer, and a 7-year-old boy another. In addition to this, I've babysat kids of a variety of ages. I can't wait to hear from you!
