About Lydia
I have been a caregiver my whole life, starting with babysitting when I was 10. In 2020 I started providing respite care for children and teenagers, and I am hoping to start helping to care for seniors as I see that is a need that is not being filled well. I do not have much experience with seniors, however I did visit a nursing home with my therapy dog, used to visit a senior church member frequently, and enjoy spending time with my grandparents. With my respite care jobs I have experience administering medication including injections, personal cares such as toileting, diapering, brushing teeth, and showering, cooking, cleaning, and running errands/grocery shopping. I am a very hard worker and eager to serve! I do have some allergies to artificial fragrances, so I will need to work with people who do not use scented laundry detergent, perfume, or cologne.
