Hello, my name is Lydia, and I am from Bozeman MT. Growing up on 40 acres, I have learned a love of being outside and enjoying a connection to the natural world. I spend my time learning about plants and going on hikes, taking care of animals or up at Big Sky hiking and skiing with kids. My background is 7 years of being a massage therapist specializing in prenatal and postnatal bodywork and teaching art classes to kids for 10 years. My core values are compassion, honesty, and kindness, I love to encourage connection to nature through walks and art and movement. I have my trauma informed yoga certification and would be so happy to teach a yoga class or take them on a nature walk and teach them about local plants. I love living in MT and recreating in the mountains, skiing, backpacking, hiking, dirt-biking, and camping.

Lydia is a nurturing, attentive and fun, a very warm caregiver. She watched our 3 & 1 yr old for two weeks, and we (all!) sincerely enjoyed the time. As she got to know the kids in the first few days, she seemed to genuinely enjoy their unique characteristics - a 3 & 1 yr old can be challenging and she met them with empathy. She brought developmentally-appropriate toys, did art projects with our older, played out in the snow as long as the kids would, was really game for anything. We hope to be able to hire her again in the future, and would definitely recommend her!
