I have lived in New York City for the past 40 years and I am a trained/certified nurse. I have 25 plus years of experience in long term positions caring for elderly people, both at nursing facilities and at their homes. My patients have had Alzheimer's Disease, diabetes, cancer, Parkinson's Disease, and other older age diseases and issues. I bring excellent and experienced nursing care and warm companionship to the people who I have cared for over the past 25 years. I manage their medication, assist them in getting to doctors' appointments, assist in all daily care needs including meal preparation, bathing, dressing, daily light exercise, and overall health management. I work to improve my patient's health and wellbeing and work with the entire family as needed. I have worked with families for many years and become a part of the family. I have many references upon request.

Luz is an angel. She is trustworthy and always went the extra mile when caring for both of my parents. For example, she traveled through a blizzard to be sure they were ok and had everything they needed. It's hard to express the relief that she provided with her consistent and loving presence. She helped care for both my parents for many years through their eventual passing and ls like a member of our family. During a very challenging time, we could rest easy knowing my ailing parents were in good hands. I'm not sure what we would have done without her, because it was important to them both to stay in their home up to the end. Luz is loyal and caring. She is competent and attentive. I can't say enough good things about her. She is a true gem.
