About Luz

While I haven't worked as a professional nanny yet, I've been in a caregiver role for pretty much my entire life. As the oldest of three younger siblings, I've had over 20 years of experience in child care. From helping with homework to calming tantrums, guiding them through frustrations. I've done it all, and it's given me a ton of patience. My siblings have taught me things I don't think any nanny course, book or manual ever could. When you grow up as the oldest, caregiving isn't something that you are trained to do. This is something that becomes a part of who you. Because of them I learned patience, quick problem-solving, responsibility and empathy . These qualities come naturally to me.
