About Luzia

Hi! I'm Luzia-a psychology and international studies major at American University in Washington, D. C., with a strong passion for working with children and a long-term goal of becoming a child psychologist. Originally from Portland, Maine, I bring both heart and hands-on experience to childcare. Over the years, I've volunteered at a daycare, completed child-focused internships, and cared for infants and children in my family. These experiences have helped me create nurturing, engaging, and safe environments for kids of all ages. I'm reliable, attentive, and self-motivated-and I truly love helping kids grow and feel supported. I'm certified in CPR and First Aid, and safety is always my top priority. I have my driver's license but I do not currently have a vehicle. While I'm new to D. C., I'm eager to begin offering babysitting services and supporting local families like I have in Maine.
