About Luke

My name is Luke and I have never lived without animals present in my life. My immediate and extended family has always had big, small, and special needs dogs. I have always had a deep love for animals in general and that led to a couple jobs. I worked at a dog boarding company where I handled 30-40 large, untrained dogs alone in an open room. I also worked with Guiding Eyes for the Blind in Yorktown as a kennel technician. I learned basic dog training and so much more about dogs including administering emergency aid/medication. I also love cats and raised a month old kitten into healthy adulthood during my college years. In addition to cats and dogs, I have cared for jumping spiders, various lizards, a turtle, and fish.
