About Lucy

Hi families!! My name is Lucy, and I'm from sunny San Diego! I'm currently studying Nutrition at Cal Poly SLO with hopes of becoming a nurse one day! I've always had the biggest heart for kids! Growing up with 10 younger cousins and a younger brother, I've been the built-in babysitter for as long as I can remember, and I absolutely love it! Back home, I work as a lifeguard and am Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certified! I also interned with the Junior Lifeguard Program, supervising kids in the ocean and teaching water safety. In high school, I helped run Bridge to the Beach, a volunteer program that gave kids the chance to enjoy fun, safe beach activities! I've also worked as a barista, so I'm used to multitasking and busy environments! I'm bubbly, patient, responsible, and always up for an adventure! Whether it's crafts, outdoor fun, or homework help, I love making kids smile! I'd love to be someone your little ones look forward to seeing and someone you can always count on!
