About Lucy

I'm a reliable and creative sitter with over 10 years of experience babysitting ages 12 months to 12 years. I also spent several years working as a camp counselor for kiddos ages 6-15 and an ESL literacy tutor for elementary schoolers. I was raised by two pediatric therapists and am passionate about how growing brains and bodies work differently; I have previously trained to work with kids with attention and behavioral challenges and volunteered with deafblind toddlers at the Perkins School for the Blind. I nannied ~20 hours/week for a wonderful family (daughters ages 2 and 5 when we met) from summer 2023 until this past November, when I took a break from childcare to pursue an editorial fellowship. Now that I'm concluding my fellowship, I'm on care. com eager to find another family I mesh as well with!
