About Lucy

Hi! My name is Lucy, and I just moved to Bed-Stuy in May after graduating from Barnard College with a degree in English and creative writing. I have 10 years of babysitting experience from toddlers to pre-teens and have also spent several summers as a performing and visual arts camp counselor for ages 7-15. I'm a creative and love any opportunities to bring my passions for writing, music, baking/cooking, and crafts to my work with kids. Having been raised by two child psychotherapists, I've also always been interested in learning how growing brains work differently. I've previously cared for a few kids on the autism spectrum, trained as a Hebrew school classroom aide for students working on emotion and behavior management, volunteered in a deaf-blind daycare, and tutored reading and writing to students with learning disabilities.
