About Lucy

I'm the oldest sister of two boys and have been babysitting since I was 11 years old, gone through CPR training, been a TA for a second grade class, worked for an afterschool program and a summer camp ages 5-12, newborns, toddlers, twins, special needs, and more. I'm okay with housekeeping, groceries, bath/bed time, food, and pets! I'd describe my personality as patient and nurturing. I work with kids because I had amazing babysitters growing up, and I want to make an impact like that. I'm looking for a job that is able to work with my school schedule and isn't very formal. I love to connect with families! I began to work when I was 11 years old as a Mother's Helper being paid $5/hour, playing and taking care of the kids while mom could go catch up on laundry or sleep. In my downtime, I like to hang out with my cat, do crafts, and read. One thing you should know about me is I put in a lot of effort. I'm great at soothing, keeping them entertained, and finding fun activities.
