About Lucy

Hello! My name is Lucy. I am a 21-year-old student looking to continue my work in child care this summer. In recent years, I have been studying at Western Michigan University. I am a responsible, personable, and supportive person who will always work towards the most constructive and empathetic solution to any hurdles that come my way. I have experience in customer service, food preparation, custodial service, and, of course, child care and development, so one could call me a Jane of all trades! I am more than happy to assist with transportation, as I have my own car, and I am well-versed in homework, mealtime and bedtime. I have also had experience caring for neurodivergent and autistic children, allowing me to hone in on the specific methods needed to create safe spaces. Caring for children gives me a sense of peace and optimism in our changing world, and I'd love nothing more than to help your family's day-to-day. Please contact me for references.
