My step son is autistic, he lived with us for 5 years before finally getting a place of his own at the age of 21. He, like others that are autistic, are very so talented in other areas there's just no room to be what we label as normal. Patience is key when working with children with disabilities. I myself am hearing impaired, and learn to embrace our differences. Routine is key when working with children with autism.

I was Lucy's instructor for the Patient Care Technician Course at a college in Winter Haven. I found Lucy to be an exceptionally caring and compassionate caregiver. She was extremely dependable, hard working and a woman of integrity. Lucy is smart and full of common sense. I can highly recommend her as a caregiver and would definitely hire her if one of my loved ones needed care. Scarlett, BSN, RN
