I worked as a Tutor/Supervisor in the Greater New Haven Area. I supervised a team of 6 tutors for the New Haven District, testing qualifying students in grades 3-8. Wrote lesson plans according to each individual students needs and met with their parents for approval. Distributed approved lesson plans to each tutor and met with the team weekly to discuss problems or concerns and I tutored 6 students on an individual basis and routinely re-tested and adjusted lesson plans accordingly while evaluating their overall progress in the program. I worked with these students in whatever setting I felt was the most comfortable for them, including "in-school," Library and "In-home" settings. This was a Government Granted Program and I worked for them for a total of 3 years, I made hours that were convenient to both the student and myself. I worked in the Greater New Haven Area with Students in grades 3-12, where a lot of ESL was built into the curriculum.
