About Lucila

Lucy took care of both my parents in their 90's for about 2 years. I wish I could give her ten stars. She is what every caregiver should be...kind, reliable, hardworking and truly cares about her clients. It was not easy to care for my parents especially as their needs progressed over time. My mom had Parkinsons and was wheelchair bound. My dad had some dimentia and would wonder outside. In spite of their needs, Lucy never lost patience with them, and still managed to make breakfast and lunch, leave them with food for dinner, keep on top of clothes and daily cleanup and more. When my mom had to spend a few months in hospital, rehab and long term hospital, Lucy would stop at house to care for dad, go stay with mom few hours, then back to dad. Again she never complained, never lost patience...everything was always met kindness and hard work. It is not an understatement to say that Lucy became part of my family. My siblings and I appreciated her so much...she is even mentioned in both my parents' obituaries when we sadly lost them a month apart. Any family would be lucky to have Lucy to care for their loved ones
