I strive to positively impact children's lives and support families by offering dependable care. My approach is patient, friendly, and warm. I keep parents informed through verbal updates or text, always respecting your preferred communication style and household rules. I enjoy nurturing children and providing a loving environment for them to explore and grow. I engage children with outdoor activities, artistic and creative play, and educational activities. I have a 6-year-old and 2-month-old myself, and worked for a year as an assistant teacher in the Early Childhood program at the Ithaca Waldorf School. I hold current First Aid Training and CPR Training, and I've enjoyed reading child development and parenting books such as Simplicity Parenting, Playful Parenting, The Childhood Roots of Adult Happiness, and Parent Effectiveness Training. I am eager to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family. I am taking care of my 2-month-old full time so she would be with me.
