About Lucia

Hi families! My name is Lucia and I just graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from Saint Mary's College of California. I'm located in Oakland. Before grad school, I was a full-time nanny for a year and half in Philadelphia. Prior to that I graduated from the University of San Francisco, where I nannied local families ranging in age and number of children. I am comfortable with household chores, feeding, meal and snack prep, school/camp drop off and pick up, bringing kids to activities, pet care, and any errands or whatever in between needs you or your children might have. I am first-aid and CPR certified, fully vaccinated and am comfortable driving or taking public transit with children. I enjoy taking kids to local parks, the library, museums, or making an adventure out of exploring the neighborhood. Having started nannying during the pandemic, I am also creative in finding things to do to keep children engaged and learning within their own home or backyard!
