About Lucia

I understand how important it is to feel at ease when you leave your child with someone. I'm a single mom, caring for little ones with patience, gentleness, and awareness. I use Conscious Discipline and pay close attention to each child's needs. I'm the oldest sister, so caring for little ones started early for me. I helped my mom with my younger siblings from the time I was 9, feeding them, changing diapers, playing with them, and keeping them safe. I also worked as a Medical Assistant and spent 11 years with the Department of Mental Health and Children & Family Services, which gave me a calm, steady presence with families. I currently work at the YMCA in the Child Watch area, where I've been caring for children for over a year, ages 6 weeks to 7 years. My daughter is 5 and often with me. She's kind, used to younger children, and comes with me daily. I'm dependable, compassionate, and committed to treating every child with care and respect.
