Hi! My name is Lucia P, and I'm a high school English teacher with a Master's in Education from Harvard. I love children, and I've worked in different forms of childcare for over a decade (including but not limited to jobs as a camp counselor for children aged 8-15, an instructor at an Environmental Science school for ages 5-14, and a teacher at a boarding school for ages 12-15.) I have always taken jobs babysitting on the side, most recently for a wonderful 2-year-old in North Carolina, and have spent extensive time with the children of folks close to me. With younger kids, I love to spend time make art with kids, sing songs and engage with music in other ways, and take nature walks, but am always excited to see what the kids I meet are excited about. I'm also an excellent homework helper and tutor, and love to cook!

Lucia watched our two daughters (9 and 7) for several days. Lucia had fun activities, and she knew how to handle both girls, who have very different demeanors. If she had stayed in Boston I'm sure we would have hired her again!
