About Lucia

Hi! My name is Lucia, and I'm passionate about providing the best childcare! I have over a year of full-time nanny experience, including co-nannying for two 1. 5-year-old boys and caring for a 10-month-old baby girl. I have a BA in Psych and Romance Languages and a minor in Education from UNC-Chapel Hill, giving me a strong foundation for my childcare approach. I have worked with children across many age groups. As a doula at UNC Hospital, I provided emotional & physical support to new moms and cared for their newborns. At the Carolina Center for Disabilities, I helped lead social skills groups for kids with autism. I also spent 8 years working in an orphanage in South Africa and have 6+ years of babysitting experience. I also have a passion for animals and spent 4 years working at a Cat Café! I enjoy crafting, especially making handmade bracelets for new moms, reading, and cooking. Excited to create a positive, fun environment!
