I'm a CNA with 17 years of experience working mainly in the in-home health care field. I've had experience aiding clients with daily activities, transportation, grooming, transferring, bedding, assisting with walking, feeding, and hospice care. I have also worked with individuals that are experiencing confusion, dementia, and have Alzheimer's disease. I like to approach each opportunity by 1st listening to what the client and family needs in regards to their in-home health care requirements. Each experience is unique, and I treat each individual as if they were a member of my own family with care and love. I especially enjoy being able to learn about a person's interest and hearing about their great adventures in life. In my personal life I enjoy spending time with my family and dog (Leo), going to the gym, hiking, and reading. I am fluent in Portuguese and can carry a conversation in Spanish.

Lucia was an angel to dad during his last couple of years. She was his best friend when he needed one most, during his cancer battle. She is very smart and really knows what she is talking about. It was especially helpful during his last days when she helped prepare my husband and I for his passing. My fil was a stubborn (and grumpy) man but Lucia was always so kind and compassionate to him. She truly made his last days much easier on all of us. If I ever have a need for a caregiver again Lucia would be my only call. This woman truly loves people and is the best choice your family. She will always be a part of ours ♥️
