About Lucero

Hi There,  I would like to highly recommend Lucero for any childcare/nanny needs that you and your family are looking for!  Lucero watched our son in a nanny share from August 2023 – July 2024 when he ranged from 14 months to 25 months.   In our time with Lucero, our schedule was Monday – Thursday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm for 32 hours a week.  She is extremely responsible and punctual and has great communication skills.   She was the first non-family member that we ever left our son with, and we are so happy that we found her!  She supported our son with transitioning from two naps to one nap and was always willing to work with implementing any specific tactics that we saw fit – our son is sleep trained and had a slight adjustment period getting used to being in a new home, but she was able to work within what we wanted to support him in taking successful naps.  She was always very collaborative in adjusting schedules and making changes to better suit both boys, while catering to two different parenting styles.     Lucero kept developmentally appropriate activities for the boys and always kept them engaged through play.  She would do art, sensory bins, made play-doh for them, teach them words in Spanish, and allow them to explore the world around them – we kept the boys well outfitted, and she would take the boys to parks and outside rain or shine!  She would also send us pictures and regular updates, so we knew what they had done throughout the day.     Lucero was a great first venture into childcare for us and helped ease us into the transition.  We will truly miss her and are so thankful for all the support and care she has provided for us.
