About Luara

Luara (Lu) has been working with our 15-month old daughter since she was a newborn. Lu is such a gem and wonderful with our little one! She’s a natural with babies and toddlers and our kiddo always has the biggest smile when Lu walks in each morning. Lu has always been punctual, professional, and easy to talk to. Lu has vast experience as a nanny and is super knowledgeable, with a calm and gentle approach. As first-time parents, it was fantastic to have Lu’s support and expertise along the way. At the same time, she’s always been respectful of our preferences and is just easy to work with. Some of Lu’s daily responsibilities include: Bottle feeding and prepping milk (early on) and supporting our daughter’s transition into solid foods; Making nutritious meals for our daughter (breakfast and lunch); Supporting sleep routines (including naps and wake windows); Diaper changes and baby laundry; Bath time; Engaging in developmental play and reading; Tracking feeding, sleeping, and milestones; Keeping the nursery tidy and organized. We’re relocating to a different state towards the end of the Summer and we’re very sad to part ways with Lu. We will miss her deeply. The next family and kiddo that gets to work with Lu will be lucky to have her!
