I have had extensive experience with elderly care which started many years ago working at Weirton Geriatric center as a care giver from there I spent 6 years doing home health care where I learned a variety of skills such as caring for quadriplegics , stroke victims , dialysis patients, Alzheimer's, dementia, colostomy care , to name a few . After doing home health I went to assisted living where I put my skills to practice caring for a multiple variety of skilled needs at my time in assisted living I became the facility administrator and held that position for 21 years where I over saw all staff hiring training scheduling and worked very closely with staff RN's to ensure quality resident care and facility state compliance . At this time I also became state certified in assisted living to administer medication. I have maintained my skills by doing private duty for the past 8 years where I've enjoyed one on one care with my clients and getting to know them and their families.
