Bringing comfort and support to seniors is my calling. For the past five years, I've dedicated myself to providing compassionate care, assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility, and specialized support for those with dementia. My approach is rooted in patience, a friendly demeanor, and meticulous attention to detail. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle behavioral changes with understanding. I communicate with families through written reports and verbal updates, always following their preferred method. Creating a comfortable environment is paramount to building strong connections. I have some college education, and I am fluent in English, French, Creole. I also understand but speak a little Spanish. Knowing I make a positive difference in someone's day brings me immense joy.
