The reason for my rating is that Mrs. L visited my residence for approximately 45 minutes on one occasion and subsequently received compensation for two hours of work. On the following day, she did not communicate or appear for her scheduled shift. I had previously informed her that my 82-year-old mother was in a vulnerable situation and required assistance with personal hygiene and bathing. As her son, our cultural norms dictate that I am unable to provide such care for my mother. Despite being aware of this, she did not provide any explanation for her absence, leaving me without support. This is the second caregiver I have engaged, and regrettably, these experiences have led me to discontinue using care.com.
