I met Lourdes in 2002 at Northwest High School on the far west side of Indianapolis. Northwest is part of the Indianapolis Public School system. Lourdes was a para professional working with bilingual students. She was very pleasant and treated everyone with the utmost respect. When the Indianapolis Algebra Project (IAP) started its' tutoring program in 2006, the IAP contacted Lourdes and asked for her help with bilingual students. Lourdes remained a loyal employee for many years now. The IAP also voted to bring her on as a member of the Board of Directors for the IAP. Lourdes has been a very dependable and responsible tutor and Board Member for a long time. We trust her impeccably. The students she tutored trusted her as well and her relationship with the parents was outstanding. She is a wonderful mother and great friend.
