About Lourdes

I like working with kids because I love learning from them. As kids, they are incredibly open to learning everything. As someone with a background in Neuroscience, it's amazing to know that a child's brain is like a sponge absorbing everything they experience. Their experiences dictate who they grow up to be, and it's just amazing to be able to be a small part of their story. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with the schedule. I am primarily focused on helping families during the evening and weekends. I started working with kids when I was still in high school, and I continued doing so in college. I have experience with kids from 6mos to 15 yo. In my spare time, I like to work out at the gym and take long walks. I also love baking and finding new recipes to cook. My skills include engaging kids with age appropriate activities trying to limit screens as much as possible, sticking to their schedules as best as possible, and creating a nurturing safe environment for kids.
