About Lourdes

My passion to support adults and seniors with compassion. My experiences in previous care roles, combined with my genuine desire to make a positive impact, led me to this fulfilling career. For the past 35 years, I've been a Certified Home Health Aid, providing respite care, dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and hospice. running errands, offering light housekeeping, preparing meals, assisting with medical management, and providing mobility assistance. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. I understand the importance of connecting with care recipients by learning their preferences and personal history. I am patient, calm, friendly, and empathetic, and I communicate regularly with families through written reports, verbal updates, and texts or phone calls. I am experienced in de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion, and incorporating memory care activities. Knowing I can bring comfort and support to your loved one brings joy to my heart.
