About Louise

Hello, My name is Louise. I am a first grade teacher here in the DMV area. I believe a child's development and ability to learn is enhanced when placed in a climate of love, respect, support, and encouragement. I create such environments in my work spaces. I have lived on three different continents: Africa, Europe, and North America. My travels have given me the unique experience to work with diverse groups of people and I believe I have what it takes to create an environment which welcomes and builds a positive relationship with all children and families. I am a driven and dedicated teacher focused on implementing highly effective instructional practices to improve learning. I believe hands-on learning and exploration is the best way to live, thus, throughout our time your child will read, explore the activities in the surrounding areas, create experiments, build forts, and have way too much fun!
