My grandfather and mother own a veterinary clinic, where I worked at for the majority of my late teens and early 20's. I was trained as a veterinary assistant and learned to care for animals with health issues - including how to administer medication - along with animals just boarding for a little while. Some pets, however, would be too stressed to leave their homes to be boarded while their owners were out of town for longer periods of time, so I began to pet sit for certain clients and family friends. This extended well into my undergraduate and graduate education. I currently have 4 animals of my own (3 cats and 1 dog), so I'm familiar with the demands and challenges of multi-pet homes. I want all animals to have the best care possible and will work with/for you to ensure they are happy and healthy.
