I am an experienced individual and have worked with a wide range of disabilities. My most recent placement was caring for wheelchair bound woman with extensive healthcare issues. I worked for her over 10 years. I have experience with autism, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, stroke survivors, and severe food allergies. I am a very caring and nurturing individual as well as honest and reliable. I am CPR and first aid certified, have been recently fingerprint cleared in order to work with young children within a school setting. I also have blood borne pathogens training and have experience with pick lines and catheter bags. My last position was caring for an elderly woman with Alzheimer disease. My duties included companionship, exercise, meal prep, errand running, playing memory games and puzzles as well as taking her to her appointments. This position ended when she was transferred to an assisted living home due to her decline in mental state. I am vaccinated/boosted and wear a mask.
