Lori has been absolutely amazing with our son, but even more so has been extremely reliable and flexible. She is very patient and knows how to tailor her interactions to the child. For example, my son would often be a bit grumpy in the morning and just want “mama” and refuse to brush his teeth or get dressed, but Lori would find something he enjoyed (like rocket ships) and redirect him to brush his teeth by “blasting off into the bathroom” and making it more fun. He was very responsive to her, but she also validated his feelings, too. I also want to point out her flexibility as one day daycare was closed and she rearranged her day to take care of our son until we were able to find someone to take over for the rest of the day. We are so thankful we found her and would highly recommend her over and over to anyone looking for help with their kids.
