I firmly believe that life is too short not to love what you do, children and elders have a way of bringing out the best in life and in me. Having attended school for nursing, I am CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certified, as well as hold a CDA in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on working with individuals with various special needs (MR, autism, Asperger's, diabetes) dementia and Alzheimer's. I currently contract with Behavioral/Mental Health facilities, nursing homes and private families as well as operate as the Nursery Director at the church I attend. It gives me joy to know that I can help direct and equip a child's future in a positive aspect by the care they receive from me, as well as bring a higher quality of life to elders and those with disabilities. It puts a smile on my face to give their family members peace of mind knowing their loved one is in good hands. I've been referred for over 15 years for my patience, energy, creativity and genuine love.

Lori conducted herself very professionally, jumping right in wherever she was most needed. I appreciated the eagerness to help in whatever capacity and the attitude she carried while doing it. I trusted my family ( my children, my Mother in law, our home and our furry family members with her and was never let down)! She monitored my mother in laws blood sugar levels (keeping her on a low sugar diet), medication administration, assisted with her seizure disorder and was an extraordinary help in dealing with her Alzheimer's and dementia. Truth be told she actually saved my mother in laws life by noticing the battery on her pace maker had significantly died down to almost a complete stop! Though we've moved from the area, Lori remains a part of mine and my families lives.
