About Lori

I'm a fun and easy going empty nester who's starting a new chapter in hopes of having the opportunity to continue working with and nurturing little ones. I'd describe my personality as joyful, playful and kind. I'm looking for a job that enables me to work with and grow with families that become like my own. I started working with kids in 2000 when my second child was born and I couldn't find trusted childcare in my area. In 2018 I happily re-opened my daycare until February 2025 when I moved here to Sioux Falls. One thing you should know about me is connection, good energy and kindness are very important to me. My skills include my ability to adapt well in all situations and different little personalities. I understand the complexities of the young mind and how the articulate their feelings in so many different ways. I believe I have a warm, calming energy that babies and young children tend to connect with easily.
