About Lori

I'm a fun and easy going empty nester who's starting a new chapter in hopes of having the opportunity to continue working with and nurturing little ones. I'd describe my personality as joyful, playful, positive and honest. I'm looking for a nanny position that enables me to work with and grow with families that become like my own for years to come. I started working with kids in 2000 when my second child was born and I couldn't find trusted childcare in my area. I decided to open my own daycare at home. In 2018 I happily re-opened my daycare until February 2025 when I moved here to Sioux Falls Good communication, positive energy and kindness are very important to me. My skills include my ability to adapt well in all situations and different little personalities. I understand the complexities of the young mind and how they articulate their feelings in so many different ways. I believe I have a warm, calming energy that babies and young children tend to connect with easily.
