Hi, I am Lori and I have over 30 years of experience in child care (that's most of my life - I'm 45). At 12, I started babysitting, which I continued for 20 years. I also taught in preschools, where I connected well with the kids and the parents. I want to give babies/toddlers/kids more individual attention than you can in a preschool setting, so that's why I nanny. After getting an Elementary Education degree, I taught Kindergarteners and 1st Graders. For 11 years, I looked after children with both low and high-functioning autism. Currently, I am working part-time at a preschool with all ages (infants-PreK). I have a lot of experience with all ages. I have nannied for babies/toddlers and enjoy the individual attention I give them. I have a fingerprint clearance card, I'm CPR and first aid certified, up to date on all my vaccines, have additional early childhood training from the preschool, and can get referrals upon request.
