About Lori

My name is Lori and I have been doing elderly care for about 20 years. I am very attentive, caring and mostly compassionate. Every person is unique in their own way and you need to be very adaptable to all situations. The highlight of my day is when I walk in and you get a genuine smile from the family member you are caring for because they are happy that you are there to either spend time with them or care for them. I have highlighted a few things I've done but not limited to: Bathing, dressing Companionship Mental Rehabilitation (lots of puzzles and games for brain injuries) Transportation to doctor appointments Errands, shopping and just getting them out Medication dispensing and queing One family I provided care for I started caring for the husband which was wheelchair bound and once he passed away the family kept me on for the wife and I stayed with her right through hospice at their home.
