About Lori

Greetings, My background is a health care professional. I recently finished homeschooling two boys from elem thru high school. Both boys are currently thriving in college. My passion for working with children remains strong. Through various roles as a teacher, mentor and mother, I have extensive experience with infants thru teens. I am highly organized, a creative problem-solver and able to multi-task. My goal is to connect with each child, along with learning their passions and joys. Using positive reinforcement and a bit of humor goes a long way with children. I have experience with family management, child-care, sick-day care with pediatrician visits, driving children to after-school activities, home-work coordination and assisting families with newborn care as a night-nanny. Limitations include the following: working the tv remote control, ipad, and electronics in general. I am interested in providing part-time child-care for local families. Kind regards, Lori
