About Lorie

Retired Activity Director. I have been a cna, med. manager, companion, retail owner. I am looking for a companion position between PBG to Hobe Sound area. For the past year I have partnered with a physical therapist to assist clients with cognative stimulation, exercises. Certified in tai chi for balance. I have completed many dementia program during my position as Activity Director. I'm energetic, compassionate, empathetic, patient and have a great sense of humor. I conduct 1 hour sessions 1 to 3 times a week for cognitive stimulation, helping with dementia, strokes and Parkinson disease. I am also on call to fill-in for caregivers or to help families enjoy an evening out. My following tasks: light cleaning, meal prep, bathing, friendly check ins, dr appt., errands, med management. I would try word games, card games, brain games, exercise, walks, reminiscing, music, light crafts etc., I am more than happy to talk with you about how my experience can help you. Live in Tequesta.
