About Lorie

Hi, my name is Lorie! I'm a graduating college student this May and am currently looking for a long-term position. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and will be starting a Master's program in Forensic Psychology this fall. I have a strong passion for working with children and have experience caring for kids ranging from 2 to 12 years old, with most of my experience centered around ages 3 to 6. I began babysitting in high school, working with local families for date nights and occasional care. During college, I expanded my experience by working at a daycare, where I primarily cared for children ages 3 to 4. I also had the opportunity to float between classrooms, assisting with toddlers (ages 1-2) and helping with aftercare programs for children up to age 12. This has given me a well-rounded understanding of different developmental stages and how to support children with varying needs.
