About Lori

I'm Lori and I've been a caregiver for over 20 years. My journey began as a teen volunteering at local nursing homes. I read, fed and bathed patients. In 2016 my husband suffered a ruptured aneurysm. I was his sole Caregiver until his death in 2018. I bathed, dressed, fed, managed all of his medications and participated in all aspects of his rehab. Since my husband's death in 2018, I have dedicated myself to caregiving. Knowing how to soothe and encourage, I work often with patients suffering from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Skills such as medical management and understanding healthy food choices allow me to care for those suffering from COPD and diabetes. Experience with all aspects of rehab, including memory building allows me to work well with anyone recovering from a physical or a brain injury. As we age, all of us need companionship. I am an avid listener and an empathetic heart. I am also CPR certified. My references which are available upon request, are extraordinary.
