I started working with the senior population in 1990 I have a combined 25 years experience in the field. Working in nursing homes, for home agencies and privately. As well as collaborating with outside sources such as PT, OT, Speech, palliative and hospice services. Senior care is my passion. Making seniors comfortable and have a superior quality of life in their own homes is my main goal. I have multiple dementia training, I am also certified in cognitive therapy which is using tools, like games, words and photos to help clients work their brain, and recall memories etc. I am trained with the balanced care method, which is providing care, a balanced diet, and therapies, to improve the quality of your loved one's life. I have experience with live in, overnights, long and short shifts as well as light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, errands, medical appointments, hospice and palliative care patients.
