As a senior care provider I have 4yrs experience I worked through ihss I took care of both my parents my mom had dementia. My father had copd and he had several surgeries which required him to have a colostomy bag put on and a catheter so I helped change his colostomy bag every week. I prepare their meals I fed my mom because she had forgotten how to eat. I bathed my mother dressed her. I washed their clothes sheets clean for them. I gave them their meds everyday and night. I would run errands pay bills buy groceries pick up or drop off prescriptions. Take them to their dr. appts. I made sure they were as comfortable. Not only because they were my parents but because every senior citizen deserves tlc.
