I've been in dog rescue for nearly 10 years, focusing primarily on caring for ones deemed unadoptable and at risk of euthanasia due to age or behavioral issues. Since most dog lovers are also dog owners, I was often homebound because I couldn't find anyone with both the right environment and experience to care for pets in my absence. I don't currently have pets and provide 1-on-1 boarding, sitting, training, and other pet care, I am happy keeping your dog in your home and will gladly care for your plants, manage basic cleaning, etc. while you are away. If I board your dog (or dogs) in my own home, they will be the only one in my care, and I will follow your household rules. I am able to give them much more one-on-one attention since I work from home and they will be with me nearly 100% of the time. I live in the historic district of Southern Pines with a fenced yard and plenty of access to walking trails. I am also a runner if you are looking for someone to exercise your dog.
