About Lorene

I have worked as a nanny for children- since 1991. I also was a caretaker to a 90-year-old women with dementia-for 3 years. I went to Shannondale Assisted Living and helped her- after she no longer could live alone. I would do arts and crafts with her- games- walks outside- help do her nightly routine of personal care- and whatever else she would need help with. Although- my work experience has mainly been with children- I strongly believe that it is very similar. I did the same exact thing with a child as I did with my elderly lady. They were just at different stages of life. I have a true passion and gift- for loving on and taking care of our most vulnerable. Let that be a child in the early stages of life or a elderly person in the later stages of life.
