About Lorena

I have been enjoying working with children for over 15 years. I am from Venezuela and hold a university degree in Early Childhood Education. I speak Spanish and know some English words and phrases. Upon arriving in the United States, I worked at a daycare center for six months. I decided to work independently to support families by offering reliable childcare while my 9-year-old daughter is at school. I currently work with a family on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Language has not been a barrier to my work; we communicate using a translation tool. I am patient, calm, creative, and kind. I enjoy board games, puzzles, and educational games that foster learning. The children I care for have learned my language. I am comfortable caring for children aged 0 to 10. I have my own vehicle and get along well with pets. I have hours available during the week and on weekends.
