About Loreena

Hi, My name is Loreena, I'm 29 years old, I have a huge passion working with all kinds-elders, children, to furry companions. I love being able to help people & find it incredibly rewarding to work with a family. I love the energy and creativity of children! I've had years of experience babysitting close family & friends & was a special needs teacher's assistant(k-12). I also have years of experience in elderly private caregiving & as an activities coordinator at an assisted living facility. Originally I went to school for plant disease research which I obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Biological Sciences from UC Davis where I worked in AgBiotech for 5 years before leaning into the field of care. I realize that I love the hands on, interactive, personal kind of work the most so here I am. I'd describe my personality as sweet, calm, gentle, silly, genuine, & helpful. My hobbies include baking, cooking, gardening, herbalism, mushroom foraging, crotcheting/knitting, & playing tennis.
