About Loraine

I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I earned a bachelors in Environmental Studies and Biology. While studying for my degree, I completed internships related to outdoor education for K-12. Since graduating, I worked as a naturalist at a science camp where I taught 5th and 6th graders about ecosystems in an outdoor setting. I have also worked one on one with a child with disabilities. Currently, I work with students helping them with their distance learning, keeping them active, and providing necessary childcare. I am prepared to take care of a diverse group of children. I am willing to watch children on any occasion, whether it be early morning or late at night. I do have experience with overnight care taking jobs. I am willing to keep the children entertained, make them a meal, give them a bath, take them to sports practice, music lessons, provide tutoring, or whatever the family's needs are.
