I have worked as a nanny for the last 11 years, taken training working with autism spectrum disorders, completed 3 plus years of university classes in Child Development/Psychology, and filled in for substitute teacher positions. I am CPR and First Aid certified! I have wonderful references that will be provided and am very professional. I have many years of experience helping children on the spectrum and have devoted a lot of time and effort into bettering these kids life thru sensory integration techniques and alternate learning strategies. I have a son with autism that is now 11 and have a deep love and passion for children with learning disabilities. I have been married for 17 wonderful years and have 2 school aged children of my own. Here is what I am looking for: to help a family out 25-30 hours a week! I have a beautiful home in Highlands Ranch. I would love to have your children in my home or also able to come to yours! My home is provided with a very safe and clean environment. I provide lots of games, tons of project materials, infant and preschool age toys, lots and lots of books for reading hour, sign language skills, complete set of phonics, many outdoor activities and child movies for quiet time. I am an outdoor person and love to enjoy the small wonders of the world to intrigue children's imagination. Your child(ren) will never have a dull moment, and I can promise you, will not sit in front of the TV. I love to stay busy, and believe outdoor play is a huge part of growth and development. I also love to cook, paint, make crafts, go to the park and scheduled outings are taken in a Dodge Nitro. I treat your child(ren) like I treat my own, with love and respect! I provide a daily schedule and a weekly list of events planned! We have a very nice subdivision with 2 parks available for daily play and HR rec centers. I keep a very well kept home and always put safety first! We are non-smokers and ask all company to not be either as this is not healthy for the children that come to our home! I really love what I do and it warms my heart to spend my days with children. I ask for $12 an hour if coming to my home or $15 if coming to yours.

Mrs. Lonea worked for us as a nanny from the time out daughter was 1 year old until she turned 6 years old. Unfortunately for us Lonea's family moved to Denver, Colorado. Lonea's passion working with special needs children gives her the rare quality of empathy. Lonea's education, experience and dedication to her work was evident in her performance. Lonea would always go above and beyond her job duties. Lonea was trusted with our daughter and gave us the peace of mind needed when we were at work. We miss Lonea dearly and you would be lucky if she chose you as her family.
