About London

Hi! I'm London, a recent UVA graduate with 8+ years of tutoring experience and 4+ years of student mentoring experience. I completed my bachelor's and Master of Leadership and Public Policy at UVA in four years, graduating with a 4. 0 while also spending four years as a varsity athlete. I've supported students with academic subjects, writing, organization and study skills, college applications, essays, scholarships, and academic planning. My experience began with Math Honor Society and my high school Writing Center and continued through college and private tutoring. My approach is personal and encouraging: I want students to succeed on the assignment in front of them while building the confidence, habits, and problem-solving skills to become independent learners. I've also helped students earn admission to schools including UVA, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, JMU, and Penn State Honors. Most importantly, I love getting to know each student and adapting to how they learn best!
