Life is busy! I work full time at a major tech company and most of my time is spent behind a screen-so I get it. I would love to help you create "parent only" time or run around with the kids so you have time at home to do what you want to do. Unless specified, I try to use electronics with children as little as possible. I think it is very important to build social and interpersonal skills by interacting with one another, going to the park, or finding something fun to do! I flourish when working with children 12 and under but can care for older ones, as well. I have experience with children who have medical and learning needs. I am fluent in English and have a working level of Italian. I am currently learning Romanian. When I am not working, I like to spend time enjoying nature with my senior dog, Moo Moo, and my husband. There are many great things I could say about London, and we feel incredibly lucky to know her. She is a phenomenal caregiver, and always went above and beyond for our child and for us as a family. (She quickly felt like part of our family after we moved to Syracuse, NY, with our closest relatives 5-8 hours away.) London is smart, energetic, punctual, reliable, and excellent with kids. She created educational and fun experiences for our son when he was 2-4yrs (before she moved), beyond anything we have experienced with other caregivers. She spent up to eight hours with him in a day, with little or no TV time. She took him to the library, museum, park, and My Gym class. They played games that supported reading, pre-math, motor skills, art, music, and social skills. (Our child also has a rare health condition, so we are incredibly picky about caregivers. London is the only person we were comfortable leaving him alone with for more than a couple hours when we moved here. We miss her!!)
